On Thursday, February 20, Source Kelowna staff attended a networking event held by the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce. The Kelowna Chamber offers networking and informational events to assist businesses in the community with making connections and growing their company. Further, the chamber offers exclusive membership benefits such as discounts to events, boardroom rentals, and access to affiliate programs. This particular networking event that we attended took place at a virtual reality lounge in Kelowna called Arcadia Virtual Reality (VR) Lounge. At the event, we learned that the founder of the business experienced virtual reality for the first time in Vancouver, and knew he had to bring it to Kelowna. Attendees of the event had the opportunity to try virtual reality games, and our Marketing Director Joanne Grindley experienced swimming in the ocean with virtual fish.
We had a great time at the event and highly recommend joining the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce. As a local business, Source appreciates the opportunity to network with other businesses.
