Community Spirit Program
At Source, we take pride in our Community Spirit program. Through this initiative, our stores donate money or furniture to deserving charities and organizations. Each of our 12 locations have the freedom to select any organization they want to support. In
Saskatoon we love to give back to the community. Previously, we’ve donated to
The Lighthouse Supported Living,
Saskatoon Interval House, and the
Saskatoon Cancer Centre. Additionally, the Cancer Centre is also one of Source’s major customers. Source values the relationships we have with our customers and we want to celebrate them by supporting its events and initiatives in any way that we can.
Upcoming Event: Choc’laCure 2019
On November 2, 2019, the Dutch Growers Garden Centre in Saskatoon will host Choc’laCure. The proceeds raised at the event are
dedicated to purchasing equipment used in treatment for individuals receiving care at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre.  Now in its 13th campaign, this year’s event will support the purchase of a new CT Simulator. Furthermore, the event features dinner, a live and silent auction, and entertainment. The Choc’laCure committee is completely volunteer based and more than $2,656,000 has been raised since 2007. Moreover, one hundred per cent of the money raised directly funds equipment.
