This summer, Source Edmonton is giving back to the local community by sending underprivileged children to camp.
In partnership with Metro Continuing Education, Source’s $2000 donation will send 10 lucky kids to the camp of their choice. Metro Continuing Education offers unique summer camps for elementary school-aged children as well as junior high students. Some examples of their themed camps include Mad Scientist, Pet Vet, Minecraft Modders & Designers, Comic Book Boot Camp, and Master Chef.
Metro Continuing Education wants to ensure that every child has an equal opportunity to attend summer camp. Unfortunately, many parents cannot afford to enroll their children in camps, but because they work full-time, they need childcare. At Source, we feel incredibly lucky that we’re able to sponsor 10 kids and give them a fun-filled summer. Learn more about the wide range of summer program offerings here.
Our Community Spirit program allows our different store locations to give back to the charities and organizations of their choice. We are committed to giving back and helping our local communities in any way that we can.
